Group of 6 “Lierna” model chairs designed by Achille Castiglioni for Cassina in 1959, produced by Gavina after 1969. The Lierna chair, whose name is a tribute to the town on Lake Como, has a lacquered solid wood structure and padded seat covered in leather or fabric and is one of the historical pieces of Italian design. Even if made of solid wood, the chair is very light. The proposed examples, produced by Gavina, in cream-colored leather and matt black lacquered structure, are in excellent condition as can be seen from photos, minor signs of aging on the leather and structure.
